Tour of the Alps has the apple of its eye

Melinda Consortium reinforces its bond to cycling world, joining the partners’ panel of the new race born from former Giro del Trentino. Two stages will take place in the Valle di Non, with a finish in Cles and a start from Smarano

The renowned Val di Non apples will delight the Tour of the Alps, the new stage race (from 17th to 21st of April, 2017) replacing former Giro del Trentino, renewing and reinforcing the bond the famous Melinda Consortium has established with the world of cycling over almost 30 years.

Although the new event widened its borders to Südtirol and Tirol, we decided to renew our successful partnerships that gave us significant results over the years, and particularly in the of Giro del Trentino’s 40th edition with a huge media exposure – Melinda Consortium’s President Michele Odorizzi explained -. In force of the new agreement, Melinda’s presence in top-level cycling continues, and we will keep on reliving the atmosphere of “our” Trofeo Melinda, whose route will be ridden by the peloton in the two stages taking place in our valley”.

Melinda acquired the status of “golden sponsor”, and its brand will show on the overall leader’s fuchsia jersey. The Val di Non cycling fans will enjoy the race for two days on their territories, with the stage 4 finish in Cles on April 20th and the final stage departure from Smarano the day after.
