Bruneck/Brunico
The town of Bruneck/Brunico is the geographical, cultural, and economic center of the Pustertal Valley/Val Pusteria. With its numerous sights worth seeing, festivals, and must-see events, Bruneck/Brunico is a magnet for visitors of all ages. Bruneck/Brunico is located at 836 m (2,740 ft.) above sea level, in the heart of a wide valley basin surrounded by tall mountains. The medieval town is bordered to the north by the Ahrntal Valley/Valle Aurina and the glaciers of the Zillertal Alps, and to the south by the Gadertal/Val Badia and the peaks of the Dolomites.
