Bazr to reward the Breakaway King at #TotA 2025

The innovative app, which blending online shopping with influencer marketing, will sponsor the special jersey awarded to the rider with the most breakaway kilometers at the Tour of the Alps (21-25 April). The partnership was finalized by Infront, a global leader in sports marketing and #TotA's strategic partner for marketing, commercial rights and TV production and distribution

Cycling has always celebrated not only those who cross the finish line in first position, but also those who light up the race - those who dare to attack when no one else will. This year, the Tour of the Alps will once again honour these brave riders with a special jersey dedicated to the breakaway specialists and the most combative riders in the peloton.
As the 48th edition of the race (21-25 April) approaches, this special award has been given a new lease of life thanks to the sponsorship of Bazr, an innovative app that blending online shopping with influencer marketing, allowing users to discover and purchase products during live streams hosted by content creators.

The new Bazr ‘Breakaway King’ jersey, like all the official leader jerseys of the Tour of the Alps, is designed and crafted by Alé Cycling. It features an elegant black base with white and yellow accents that reflect Bazr’s brand colors.
The most combative rider of the Tour of the Alps—the one who covers the most kilometers in breakaways during the euro-regional stage race—will be recognized on the podium each day at the stage finish.
In 2024, the special classification was won by Simon Pellaud. The Swiss rider came close to victory on stage 2, which ended in Stans and was ultimately claimed by another breakaway specialist, Italian Alessandro De Marchi. Riding for Team Jayco-AlUla, De Marchi is one of the early favorites to claim the Bazr ‘Breakaway King’ jersey this year.
