#TotA and Suzuki keep driving on the road to sustainability

Tour of the Alps and Suzuki mark six years of partnership. The Japanese brand’s green vision will once again support the GS Alto Garda organizing team from April 21 to 25

In the heart of the Alps—where mountains tell stories of endurance, nature, and passion—a partnership continues to evolve with its sights set firmly on the future and environmental sustainability. For the sixth consecutive year, Suzuki reaffirms its commitment to the Tour of the Alps, scheduled from April 21 to 25 across the scenic roads of the Euregio Tirol–Südtirol/Alto Adige–Trentino.

Since 2019, Suzuki has been the Official Car of this prestigious euro-regional cycling race and returns in 2025 as a Premium Sponsor of its 48th edition, kicking off on Monday, April 21 from San Lorenzo Dorsino in Trentino. The Hamamatsu-based manufacturer—true to its low-impact philosophy—shares with #TotA a common goal: making mobility compatible with the protection of the Alpine ecosystem. It's a challenging yet achievable mission, reflected in every logistical detail, from internal transport solutions to the technologies deployed.

Once again, the Tour of the Alps organization will benefit from a fleet of 100% Hybrid Suzuki vehicles—a hallmark of innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility. The Swace and S-Cross models, equipped with advanced hybrid systems, will ensure smooth, low-impact mobility throughout the race, perfectly in step with the sustainability values of both the event and the local Euregio communities.

The Suzuki Swace blends sleek design and functional comfort with a cutting-edge hybrid core engineered for maximum efficiency. Its advanced drivetrain delivers seamless performance and low consumption, optimizing every journey with intelligent energy management. The Suzuki S-Cross, a bold and versatile SUV, features hybrid power and 4x4 ALLGRIP all-wheel drive, enabling it to tackle any terrain with confidence and efficiency. Spacious, connected, and fully equipped, it’s built for those who seek freedom and sustainability—without compromising on comfort or driving pleasure.

Suzuki’s presence in the cycling world doesn’t stop here. On June 14, the Suzuki Bike Day returns to the iconic Monza Circuit—a festival of shared, sustainable mobility, joined by top athletes and led by former Italian National Cycling Team coach, Davide Cassani.

“We are proud to be the choice of the Tour of the Alps, an event that perfectly reflects the values at the heart of Suzuki: environmental respect, a passion for sport, and a commitment to sustainable mobility. Supporting the GS Alto Garda team with our 100% hybrid fleet is a tangible way to back an event that promotes a healthy lifestyle and a greener vision for the future,” said Massimo Nalli, President and CEO of Suzuki Italy.

“We’ve shared a vision with Suzuki for years—one rooted in innovation, quality, and above all, respect for the environment,”
added Giacomo Santini, President of GS Alto Garda. “Their unwavering support strengthens our project and helps us make the Tour of the Alps more sustainable each year—without compromising on efficiency or safety. It's a point of pride to work alongside such a reliable and forward-thinking partner—one that truly understands the spirit of our mountains and the passion of those who live them.”
