Würth returns for 2025 Tour of the Alps with red jersey sponsorship

World fastening and assembly leader extends euro-regional event partnership (April 21-25), backing Points Classification jersey

After welcoming the Tour of the Alps' 2024 edition to its Neumarkt/Egna headquarters for stage eve and start activities, Würth, the world leader in fastening and assembly systems, renews its partnership with GS Alto Garda's Euroregional race. The Tour of the Alps' 48th edition runs April 21-25 across the Tirol-Südtirol/Alto Adige-Trentino Euroregion.

As premium partner, Würth continues its Tour of the Alps involvement by sponsoring the redPoints Classification jersey awarded to #TOTA's most consistent performer over five stages.

Fittingly, 2024's red jersey winner Tobias Foss exemplified this consistency, claiming victory in Kurtinig ADW/Cortina SSdV and adding to his 2022 Time Trial World Championship. Coming behind him was Italian talent Antonio Tiberi, who earned last year's Würth-branded white jersey as best young rider.

Infront, Tour of the Alps' strategic marketing, commercial and broadcast partner, secured the agreement.

Würth shares the race's core values of consistency, teamwork and continuous improvement. The brand maintains deep sporting involvement across local, national and international levels. Sport's power to unite communities aligns perfectly with Euro-regional cooperation's goals and its flagship event, the Tour of the Alps.

"Supporting the 2025 Tour of the Alps lets Würth Italy celebrate sport's core values: passion, determination, and development. This event inspires our region and we're proud to participate," said Norman Atz, Würth Italy Communication Director. "The red jersey reflects our commitment to rewarding talent and perseverance. We look forward to sharing this unique competition's energy and excitement with the community."

"The Tour of the Alps consistently identifies promising stage racers who prove themselves on Euregio roads," explained GS Alto Garda President Giacomo Santini. "That's why the Red Jersey holds special meaning, and why we're delighted to have Würth, with its strong Südtirol/Alto Adige roots and valued partnership, as sponsor."
